LES RESULTATS DE LA FINALE DU TPC
Après plusieurs mois de qualification online sur la plateforme Sajoo et en live dans toute la France ayant rassemblé à chaque fois une centaine de joueurs pro et amateurs, 21 équipes françaises sont dores et déjà qualifiées pour cette 1ère finale TPC qui aura lieu le : D'autres équipes locales et internationales ont déjà aussi exprimé leur intérêt à venir participer à ce qui devrait constituer une belle fête du poker. Pour ce faire, le casino met à disposition un pack très avantageux incluant le buy-in, l'hébergement en hôtel 5 étoiles et l'entrée gratuite à la célèbre discothèque ThéâtrO.
Concrètement, le déroulement de cette compétition s'appuie sur des principes simples :

Toute l'originalité de TPC tient dans le fait qu'il s'agit d'une compétition par équipe réellement interactive. Casino de Marrakech Es Saadi to organize the 1st TPC final,
Team Poker Championship, 14th and 15th October 2011
The 1st Team competition of Texas Hold’em Cash game and multi table tournament mixed
Following several months of qualification on-line via Sajoo.fr and live tournaments across the whole of France, each of which brought together approximately one hundred players amateurs and pros alike, 21 French teams have made the grade and have qualified for this 1st TPC Final which will take place Friday 14th and Saturday 15th of October 2011 in the Casino de Marrakech Es Saadi. Entry fee for this event is 1450 Euro (16 400 Dirhams) for each team of two, i.e. 725 Euro (8 200 Dirhams) per person.
Other local and international teams have already expressed their interest in participating in what is already shaping up to be a great festival of poker. To help things along the casino is offering a very advantageous pack which includes buy in to the event, accommodation in a 5-star hotel and free entry to the celebrated Night Club “ThéâtrO”.
To encourage further this initiative the Casino has decided that exceptionally for this 1st final they will limit their tax to 100 euros by team thereby leaving 1350 Euros for what is already shaping up to being a very generous prize pool. (30 000 Gaurantee !!)
The running of this competition is based concretely on some very simple principles:
- A team is constituted of 2 players,
- The players play various forms of No Limit Texas Hold'em: Multi-tables tournaments, Sit and Go and also Cash Game,
- Simply enough the objective for the team is to make its bankroll grow.
For the player, whether he is a novice or an expert, the TPC allows him to:
- Take advantage of a system which moderates the fatal effects of variance and premature eliminations,
- Develop his strategy as the competition unfolds without being pressured simply by increasing blinds.
- And above all: NO MORE PLAYING BY ONESELF…
Toute l'originalité de TPC tient dans le fait qu'il s'agit d'une compétition par équipe réellement interactive. Contrairement à d'autres tournois où la notion d'équipe n'est obtenue que par l'addition de résultats individuels, TPC permet d'envisager une vraie stratégie collective se confrontant aux différentes problématiques du monde du poker :
- gestion de bankroll,
- choix d'une stratégie commune face aux différents formats de poker proposés (cash game, sit & go et/ou tournoi multi-tables),
- gestion du tilt chez un coéquipier,
- multiplicité des options de jeu : jouer short stack ou deep stack en cash game ou en tournoi? S'arrêter de jouer en cash pour préserver la bankroll?
- coaching : un joueur tout aussi limité qu'il soit peut s'avérer "meneur d'homme" ou fin stratège…
All the originality of the TPC is held in the fact that in real terms it is an interactive team challenge. Contrary to other tournaments where the notion of team is obtained simply by the addition of individual results, The TPC will allow each team to envisage a real collective strategy to confront various challenges from the world of Poker:
- Management of a bankroll,
- Formulation of a collective strategy to confront the various formats of poker proposed (cash game, sit and go and\or tournament multi-tables),
- Handling of a team-mate going on Tilt,
- Multiplicity of the game options: to play short stack or deep stack in cash game or in tournament? Stop playing in cash to protect the bankroll?
- Coaching: help a player in difficulty become "leader of men" or fine strategist…
An infinity of options offer themselves up to the team-mates even those unaccustomed to the World of Poker, as they no longer have to take decisions by themselves… Maybe this being the crucial point of such a formula. Beyond the purely strategic aspect, playing as a team will bring a new energy to the play, competitiveness, an appetite to emulate, a dimension of play that was until now individualist. It falls on the shoulders of each team member to pull his team towards the summit regardless of his experience.
In organizing this New Generation Poker tournament the Casino de Marrakech Es Saadi has once again shown itself to be ever faithful to its reputation as a pioneer. The Bauchet-Bouhlal family, owners of Es Saadi Gardens and Resort, were touched by the originality of this concept created by Jibril Lahbabi, all the more he is none other than the son of Kamal Lahbabi, creator of the resplendent ceramic murals which adorn the ground floor of The Palace Es Saadi. And one series of these murals that leads to the casino represents…gaming!
